Why Elin Eyes
As an optometrist, I’ve spent over twenty years helping patients manage dry eye disease, contact lens discomfort, and the impact of beauty products on eye health. This day-to-day care, combined with my awareness of the growing body of research around skincare and eye care product ingredients that may impact dry eye disease; and the understanding that “lid hygiene” is important for the vast majority of my patients, sparked the idea of Elin Eyes.
With Elin Eyes, I set out to create a range of New Zealand-made products that not only cleanse the lids & lashes but also won’t strip moisture from the skin, won’t clog pores, & provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory & anti-bacterial properties. My vision was to create an eye care range that is as effective as it is beautiful—one that blends health with aesthetics, ensuring that caring for your eyes is not just necessary but also enjoyable.
The Journey Behind Elin Eyes
Developing Elin Eyes has been a long process, spanning a few years of research, collaboration, and product testing. Drawing on my clinical expertise & commitment to evidence-based care, I’ve collaborated with leading chemists to develop the formulations. I was also very focused on having the range manufactured in New Zealand, and spent a fair bit of time considering packaging and working with a local creative team on bringing Elin Eyes to life.

Starting with Lid & Lash Cleansers
I knew the foundation of the Elin Eyes range had to be Lid & Lash Cleansers. Eyelid hygiene is a pillar of dry eye management, but it also enhances contact lens comfort, lash health, and overall eye appearance. By offering a product that cleanses without stripping moisture, clogging pores, or irritating the skin, we help people maintain clear, comfortable, and radiant eyes.
This is just the beginning. As Elin Eyes grows, I’m committed to developing more evidence-based products that help people achieve healthy, beautiful eyes—without compromise.
