Adele Jefferies is an optometrist with over 20 years of experience dedicated to improving the eye health of New Zealanders. Witnessing a dramatic rise in dry eye disease and ocular surface conditions, Adele became increasingly concerned about the impact of beauty and skincare products on eye health. She saw firsthand how many patients felt they had to compromise their eye health to achieve their desired aesthetic, or didn’t feel their best because of dry, irritated eyes, and she believed there had to be a better way. This passion for providing a solution led her to create Elin Eyes.

As she understands Lid Hygiene is important for many, the product range has started with Lid and Lash Cleansers – eyelid hygiene is a pillar of Dry Eye Management but can also benefit contact lens comfort, lash length and appearance, and overall how the eyes look and feel.

Adele’s vision was to offer clean, natural, and effective eye care products that eliminate the need to choose between looking great and feeling comfortable. Drawing on her clinical expertise and commitment to evidence-based care, she collaborated with leading chemists to develop formulations that nourish, cleanse, and protect the delicate skin around the eyes, without compromising health.
